the refuge gathers saturday evenings at 6:00 pm at the crescent grange hall in broomfield, located at 7901 w. 120th avenue, on old 120th right next to the grainery behind great scot’s eatery. refuge kids program for babies through elementary.
what can you expect at our saturday gatherings? a dynamic, fairly loose service that isn't highly programmed, lots of laughing, interactive teaching from the Bible, creative experiential stuff, coffee & snacks (and sometimes dinner), a variety of teaching & worship experiences, flexibility to be quiet, move around, connect with God however works for you.
safe loving community is just as important for the kids at the refuge as it is for the adults! every sunday evening there is a refuge kids program for babies and up.
we try to integrate the refuge middle & high schoolers into our regular gatherings as much as possible, but we are praying that over time
someone joins our community to really invest in this important group! please let us know if this is on your heart! contact us at therefuge@therefugeonline.org.

the refuge might be the church for you if you are weary and tired of...
doing life all alone
feeling like you don’t belong
trying to keep it all together
church feeling more like a corporation than a family
secrets & hiding
watching instead of being and doing
the refuge might be the church for you if you are restless and you want....
more of God
more purpose
deeper connection with people
a new way to worship
to be challenged and pushed out of your comfort zone
to experience Jesus’ hope & healing
the refuge is definitely not for you (sorry, we’re just being honest) if you like…
predictability & routine, never a spontaneous moment
observing more than participating
certainty more than mystery
comfort & enjoyment over growing
rules and conformity
being spoken to instead of invited to discover with
who's who...

ways you can support the work of the refuge
sometimes people ask us “how can i be part of what the refuge is doing?” while we always love any prayers & encouragement we can get, one really tangible way you can help extend our culture of generosity is to donate money that we can use to continue to creatively meet the needs that come across our path through our network of relationships with single moms, dads & struggling families. we are now on paypal to make online donations easier. thanks for believing in us. it means more than you know.
new! check out the refuge love catalog--ways to support specific needs for the refuge advocacy fund.
