the refuge gathers sunday evenings at 4:00 pm at the miramonte lodge - 1200 miramonte street broomfield 80020. refuge kids program for babies through elementary.
what can you expect at our sunday gatherings? a dynamic, fairly loose service that isn't highly programmed, lots of laughing, interactive teaching from the Bible, creative experiential stuff, coffee & snacks (and sometimes dinner), a variety of teaching & worship experiences, flexibility to be quiet, move around, connect with God however works for you.
safe loving community is just as important for the kids at the refuge as it is for the adults! every sunday evening there is a refuge kids program for babies and up.
middle and high school students need their own place to grow and explore a relationship with God. at the refuge, we try to create that time, place, and environment in different ways.
houses of refuge meet in various homes & places during the week and are a great way to develop deeper relationships with God and others at the refuge. they start at different times & cross over a variety of topics. kids are welcome and the format is very flexible; all are welcome, no matter where you are on your faith journey or life circumstance.

the refuge might be the church for you if you are weary and tired of...
doing life all alone
feeling like you don’t belong
trying to keep it all together
church feeling more like a corporation than a family
secrets & hiding
watching instead of being and doing
the refuge might be the church for you if you are restless and you want....
more of God
more purpose
deeper connection with people
a new way to worship
to be challenged and pushed out of your comfort zone
to experience Jesus’ hope & healing
the refuge is definitely not for you (sorry, we’re just being honest) if you like…
predictability & routine, never a spontaneous moment
observing more than participating
certainty more than mystery
comfort & enjoyment over growing
rules and conformity
being spoken to instead of invited to discover with
who's who...
