safe loving community is just as important for the kids at the refuge as it is for the adults! every saturday evening there is a refuge kids program for babies and up.
how to volunteer
we always need volunteers to love the refuge kids. most volunteers only do one saturday evening a month, so it's an easy way to support this important piece of the refuge community. please contact christa at actressgirlleavitt@gmail.com if you'd like to be part of helping refuge kids in some shape or form.
saturday gathering information
on saturdays, we group the kids by the following ages:
nursery - babies through 3 years old
preschoolers - 3 through 6 years old
elementary - 6 through 12 years old
middle & high schoolers participate in our large group gathering

it's time for some overseas sponsorship! we will be kicking off our sponsorship of five thai orphans on september 9th! each child is from the mae la refugee camp on the thai/burma border and lives at the jury foundation, a home started by a christian woman named jury that houses around 65 refugee children. every month we will be asked to raise $13.00 per child, that is $65.00 a month. this is not only a great opportunity to sit down with your child/children and discuss some fun ways to raise money but a chance for them to make a huge impact in some very needy children's lives. kids can turn in their offering each week and we'll send a check to the ministry directly from the refuge.
